Cookie Policy
Sannvit, Inc. · Effective August 12, 2026 · Version 1.1
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies our website (sannvit.com) uses. The honest summary: very few, and none that advertise to you or follow you across the web.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They can be essential (making the site work), functional (remembering your preferences), analytic (counting visits), or advertising (tracking you across sites to target ads).
2. What we use
| Category | Do we use it? | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Yes | Security and basic site operation (e.g., load balancing, form-submission protection). These cannot be turned off without breaking the site. |
| Functional | Yes | Remembering the language and light/dark theme you choose. |
| Analytics | Yes — only with your consent | Google Analytics, to understand aggregate traffic (page-view counts, approximate region). Loaded only after you accept; IP addresses anonymized; no cross-site tracking. Decline and none of it runs. |
| Advertising / cross-site tracking | No | We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or social-media trackers, and we do not participate in ad networks. |
We keep this table accurate to what the site actually does — it is a factual claim, and we keep our factual claims true.
3. Third parties
Apart from analytics you have consented to, we do not permit third parties to set cookies on our site for their own purposes. Service providers that help operate the site (e.g., hosting) may set essential cookies solely on our behalf.
4. Your choices
When you first visit, we ask before setting any non-essential cookie: analytics stays off until you accept it, and you can decline with one click. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works with essential cookies alone. Because we do not use advertising cookies, there is no ad-tracking to opt out of. For visitors in the EEA and UK this is also the law (ePrivacy rules): analytics cookies are set only after opt-in consent, never before.
5. Do Not Track and opt-out signals
Because we do not track visitors across sites or sell personal information, browser signals like Do Not Track and the Global Privacy Control do not change what we do — the behavior they request is already our default.
